“Non fare dei tuoi pensieri le tue prigioni”. È facile pensare così tanto che ci sentiamo imprigionati. Che tu sia perso nei tuoi pensieri, preso in una spirale di preoccupazione o che stia lottando per essere guidato dal tuo cuore, il consiglio qui è di non lasciare che credenze, paure o aspettative limitino la nostra vita. Una degna alternativa alla chiamata del mondo a pensare “fuori dagli schemi”. Il vittorioso Cesare mostra generosità e magnanimità nei confronti di Cleopatra e le dice con queste parole di non lasciare che le sue paure dominino la sua mente. Ma lei non si fida di lui, e dopo che se ne va si rivolge alle sue cameriere e dice: “Mi parla, ragazze, mi parla.”

Make not your thoughts your prisons. It’s easy to overthink so much that we feel imprisoned. Whether lost in thought, caught in a spiral of worry, or struggling to be led by your heart, the advice here is not to let beliefs, fears, or expectations constrain our life. A worthy alternative to the corporate world’s call to think ‘outside the box’. The victorious Caesar is displaying generosity and magnanimity towards Cleopatra and tells her in these words not to let her fears dominate her mind. But she doesn’t trust him, and after he leaves she turns to her maids and says, “He words me, girls, he words me”.
